Gauci Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Gauci is operated by INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U62012WR2026PTC295588), 168, GT Rd, near Aloka Cinema, Shibpur, Howrah, West Bengal 711102, India ("we", "us"). These Terms apply when you create a Gauci account or use any part of Gauci. If you use Gauci for a business, you accept these Terms for that business and confirm that you may do so.

2. Your Gauci account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• Your Gauci ID and password are personal. Keep the password secret and turn on 2-Step Verification. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Give true information. We may suspend accounts created with false details, automated sign-ups or to avoid an earlier suspension.
• A Gauci account is separate from any other service of INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED; its data is kept on its own.

3. What Gauci provides

• Gauci Social: connect your own social channels, write posts and publish them now or at a scheduled time. A channel is available only when the network allows it and approves Gauci's developer app; networks can change or withdraw their posting tools at any time.
• Gauci Site Audit: enter a domain and GauciBot reads public pages of that website to report technical and SEO problems with suggested fixes.
• Gauci Forms: create forms with a share link and collect responses and files.
• Lily: the Gauci assistant answers help questions and assists with writing.

4. Connecting social networks

When you connect a channel you give Gauci a token, app password or webhook that lets it post for you. We store it encrypted and use it only to publish posts you write or schedule and to check that the connection works. You can remove a channel at any time, and you can also revoke access inside the network itself.

You remain bound by the rules of each network. Gauci does not guarantee that a network will accept, show or keep a post, and is not responsible for actions a network takes on your account.

5. Site audits

• You may audit public pages of any website. GauciBot follows robots.txt, reads at most 50 pages per audit (500 for sites you have verified), never more than one audit of a website at a time and at most 30 audits of one website a day across all users.
• Do not use Site Audit to overload, test the security of, or collect personal data from a website. Audits are for improving websites, not for scraping their content.
• Audit results are suggestions. You decide which changes to make; we are not liable for changes made to a website based on them.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use Gauci to:

• post or collect content that is illegal in India or where you are, including content banned under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021;
• send spam, run misleading campaigns, impersonate people or brands, or post political or financial advertising without the disclosures the law and the network require;
• collect passwords, card numbers, OTPs or government ID numbers through Gauci Forms;
• upload malware, attack networks, or try to get around limits or security;
• infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, or harass, threaten or exploit anyone, especially children.

7. Your content

You own the posts, forms, responses and files you put into Gauci. You give us the permission needed to store, process, display and publish them only to provide Gauci to you (for example, to send a scheduled post to the channel you chose). We do not sell your content and do not use it to show advertising.

8. Prices and plans

Gauci Social, Gauci Site Audit and Gauci Forms are free to start. If paid plans are introduced, prices will be shown in Indian rupees (INR) with GST before you buy, and nothing is charged without your clear agreement.

9. Suspension and closing an account

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law, or puts users, networks or websites at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. You can close your Gauci account at any time from Settings; your data is then deleted as described in the Gauci Privacy Policy.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Gauci available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Features may change; if a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

11. Limit of liability

Gauci is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost posts, or decisions taken by social networks or search engines. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Gauci in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Grievances and contact

Grievance Officer (IT Rules, 2021): Salena, INDO CHATS PRIVATE LIMITED, 168, GT Rd, near Aloka Cinema, Shibpur, Howrah, West Bengal 711102, India. Raise a grievance in Gauci under Help & support → Grievance. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 7 days.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version; important changes are announced in Gauci at least 15 days before they apply.
